Alliance Total Care LLC is offering Caregiver Training Classes for individuals who wish to join our professional caregiver team in the home healthcare field. The training will cover 11 basic Medicaid Personal Care and Supportive Home Care Essential Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). The training is open to the public and anyone can enroll. The purpose of this training is to equipped students to become direct care workers in long term care that meets regulatory and quality requirements. Students who have successfully completed the program will receive a certificate of completion and job placement with a client in a home setting.
Below is the FAQ’s for our Caregiver Training.
The cost for each student is $100. We’ll reimburse $75 back to the student if the student is employed with Alliance Total Care. $25 will be used for processing fee and classroom materials. If student is employed elsewhere, reimbursement will not apply.
Our training classes covered 11 Cores of Direct Care Competency as the following:
- Assistance with Getting in and out of bed
- Toileting
- Assistance with Bathing
- Teeth, Mouth, and Hair Care
- Assistance with Dressing and Undressing
- Care of Eyeglasses and Hearing Aids
- Assistance with Mobility and Ambulation
- Simple Transfers
- Skin Care
- Housekeeping, Meal Preparation and Laundry
- HIPPA Laws
- Client Rights & Responsibilities
- Electronic Visit Verification (EVV) Training
- Written Quiz
- Certificate of Completion
- Orientation
- Complete a Background Check
- Job Placements
Three full days, from 9am-4pm classroom training. Dates to be determined.
All training classes must be paid in full to Alliance Total Care LLC three days before class starts. We accept these payment plans:
- Online Payment
- Cash Payment (In Full)- Three business days before class starts, no exception.
- Money Order or Cashier’s Check Payable to Alliance Total Care LLC
- No Personal Check
Yes, you can. Our training covered 11 basic Medicaid Personal Care and Supportive Home Care Essential Activity of Daily Living. Additional training will be required if you wish to work in CBRF or Assisted Living Facility. At the present time, we do not offer training in these areas.
All payments for classes are non-refundable. We’ll allow you to return to classes within six months from the date you registered for class at no additional costs. After this period, you will need to start all over again.
